Join the NHS PTO Thursday night in the high school library for a session on the college process.

At our May 17 NHS PTO meeting, we’ll address a question that many parents face:

How do you navigate the college admission process?

The goal of this meeting is to provide a quick summary of some of the best practices noted by the guidance department along with some actual first-hand accounts of what parents and students have encountered in the college admissions process:

Ø  Keys from Guidance: The NHS Guidance office will share what they have found to be the really important issues, considerations and tips that parents should be aware of.

Ø  Parent’s Perspective: A guided discussion where parents can share the things that they have learned as they and their kids attempt to navigate the process.

Meeting Details: 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17 in the NHS Media Center

Featured Speakers:

  • Steve Pinch of the NHS Guidance Office will provide the “top three tips and recommendations" for making the college admission process go more smoothly.
  • Judy Tucker, a NHS PTO board member, will guide a discussion of “College Admissions - Parent's Perspective.”
