Old North Road In South Kingstown Closing For Paving
Old North Road from Stony Fort Road to Route 138 will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday for paving.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Parts of Old North Road in South Kingstown will be inaccessible, beginning Tuesday because of construction, according to police.
Old North Road from Stony Fort Road to Route 138 will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday for paving. Police said the project is expected to take four weeks, so avoid the area in the meantime.
Police said use Stony Fort Road to Plains Road to access the University of Rhode Island campus from the north or Route 138 to Upper College, Lower College or Plains Road from the south.
