NARRAGANSETT, RI — All outdoor showers and water will not be available at state beaches in Narragansett, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said Thursday.

State officials said the decision to close the showers was made in an effort to conserve water and adhere to an outdoor water ban Narragansett said amid "extreme drought" conditions.

The following Rhode Island state beaches will not have outdoor showers or water available:
