Pedestrian Hit By Car In South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A pedestrian was hit by a car in South Kingstown on Wednesday morning, according to police.

Police said the crash happened on Main Street, and the road is closed between Columbia Street and Oak Street. A detour was set up, while police investigate the crash.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
