Providence Boy Charged With Narragansett Larcenies

According to a release from the Narragansett Police Department, a local youth is responsible for several thefts in the area.

On June 8, members of the Narragansett Police Department arrested a 14-year-old boy for an attempted larceny at Scarborough Beach. The follow-up investigation linked the juvenile to the following recent crimes:

  • A June 4 break and entering at 27 Sewell Road where a computer and a motor vehicle were stolen.
  • A June 5 larceny of a motor vehicle from the parking lot of St. Mary’s Star of the Sea.
  • A June 8 breaking and entering at 18 Elizabeth Road where a laptop computer was stolen.

The 14-year-old boy out of Providence is being held at the Rhode Island Training School on three counts of larceny greater than $500, felony breaking and entering, conspiracy and vandalism.
