Recall Petition For 3 Narragansett Town Council Members
The Narragansett Town Council Is Trying to Put Forth 14 Change Ordinances That Can Harm Our Town
A Recall Petition Has Been Set Up For 3 Narragansett Town Council Members. The Members are James Durkin, Donna Vignalli, and Jason Colonies. The Recall Stems from Their Actions That Many Feel Will Forever Cause Harm to the Landscape of Narragansett. For Example, it is Proposed to Remove the Bulk Zoning Ordinance, and a Cut Back on Setbacks, so People Can Build Bigger Houses on a Set Lot. For example, a 3-family house could be allowed to be built next to a 1 family house. Due to disregard to resident voices and other falsehoods a recall petition has been generated. These take away ordinances can allow houses of a disproportionate large sizes to be built up in any neighborhood. The Dates in Which You Can Sign the Petition are May 17, 8am to 12pm, May 24, 8am to 12pm, and May 28th, 4pm to 8pm. Please reach out to Gail Scowcroft if you would like to volunteer. The location as of now is at the Narragansett Community Center. Dr. Scowcroft's email is GailScowc@gmail.com. United We Stand, Divided We Fall.
