RI Woman Dies In Crash On I-95 In CT
A 21-year-old Rhode Island woman died after crashing into a tree off the highway, State Police said.
STONINGTON, CT — A Rhode Island woman died in a crash Sunday on Interstate 95 in Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police said the crashed happened on I-95 Southbound in Stonington. The driver, Samantha Stone, 21, of Hopkinton, died after crashing into a tree, State Police said. State Police said Stone was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police said the passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
