Rocky Hill Senior from SK Named National Merit Semifinalist
Hunter Gallant was selected based on his PSAT scores from his junior year and is working to make it to the final round.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—South Kingstown native Hunter Gallant has been named a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship program.
The senior prefect at Rocky Hill School was selected based on his PSAT scores taken in his junior year.
Gallant is one of 16,000 seniors nationwide to be selected for the honor. While it seems like a big group, consider that 1.6 million juniors representing 22,000 high schools entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.
