S. Kingstown, N. Kingstown Football Teams Prep For Thanksgiving Game

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The fall sports season may be winding down. But local high school football teams still have at least one more round of action left on their schedules before the end of 2022.

South Kingstown and North Kingstown's varsity football teams will head to URI Meade Stadium on Thursday for its annual Thanksgiving rivalry game.

North Kingstown (6-3), who made it to Division I RIIL semifinals, will look to finish a good season on a strong note.

South Kingstown finished 5-4, missing the playoffs. But they will look to finish the season with an upset against their rival.

Kickoff for this week’s Thanksgiving game is set for 10 a.m., Thursday, at URI Meade Stadium.
