The EPA and the state DEM will honor the longtime South County senator for her work on environmental issues next week in Narragansett.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—Rhode Island Sen. V. Susan Sosnowski is about to receive a lifetime achievement award from the Environmental Protection Agency and the state Department of Environmental Management.

Both agencies announced on Thursday that the longtime farmer and Senator representing District 37 will receive the award at a special ceremony next week at Salty Brine State Beach in the Port of Galilee.
