Volunteers Needed for Youth Track Series

Hey Narragansett kids, fulfill your community service hours by helping out at a great cause.

Are you interested in being part of an amazing community event, and earning some community service hours this summer?

Come and volunteer at the 7th annual Summer Youth Track Series, which is a series of 5 free track meets for boys and girls ages 13 and under. The meets are held at the Narragansett High School track.

Volunteers are needed to register the participants, assist with the running and field events, to pass out t-shirts, ribbons, refreshments, and set-up and clean-up for each meet.

Sessions will be held Monday nights – July 11, 18 and 25, and August 1 and 8. Volunteers are needed any time between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., with track meets beginning at 6 p.m. each night.

Volunteers can come to one or all of the meets, and they can also come for any length of time. If you can only stay one to two hours, that's fine!

If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact Tammy McNeiece at 789-1538 or Tmcneiece@cox.net.

Last year we had 300 participants show up for the first meet, so please consider being a part of this great community event!
