WATCH: 4 Cars Broken Into In South Kingstown

According to South Kingstown police, none of the cars were locked, and several personal items were reported stolen.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — South Kingstown police urged the public to watchful after recent car break-ins in town.

Police said four cars were broken into on Dec. 29. According to police, none of the cars were locked, and several personal items were reported stolen.

"Unfortunately, crimes of opportunity happen anywhere, but we can prevent them and discourage criminals from returning," a South Kingstown police spokesperson said.
