On Friday, the town will host its annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and will feature hot chocolate, caroling, and the pottery studio is holding an open house.
The evening wraps up with the magical arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the holiday trees.

Santa Visits-South Kingstown Parks & Recreation Neighborhood Guild
Want to visit Santa in person? He will be at the Neighborhood Guild from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10, 11, and 12. Call 401-789-9301 to reserve your five-minute time slot. The cost is $8 per family.
