Man Arrested After Mother's 'Suspicious Death' In Narragansett

The woman was found dead just before 1:30 p.m. at the home on Inkberry Trail, police said.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A man has been arrested and is facing a murder charge after his mother was found dead under "suspicious circumstances" at a home in Narragansett Monday afternoon, according to police.

The woman was found dead just before 1:30 p.m. at the home on Inkberry Trail, police said.

Her son, Bryan Wilson, 27, of Narragansett, is facing charges of second-degree domestic murder and violation of a protective order, police said.

He was arraigned Tuesday. A status conference was set for Oct. 9. and the case was referred to a grand jury.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending formal identification and next-of-kin notification, according to police.

"The Narragansett Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation of this incident," police said. "There is no threat to public safety."
