Felony Drug Arrest, Open Container
The following arrests were reported by the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

- Robert Roderick, 26, of 7 Ann St. Apt #3, was arrested on Tuesday on a felony possession of drug charge. Police were called to Friendship Street after Newport Hospital reported that a patient's medication was stolen from his home while he was at the hospital. Police said Roderick was inside the apartment and found marijuana, small plastic baggies, a digital scale.
- Nolan Brady, 19, of 7 Ochre Point Ave. Apt #050B, was arrested Monday on charges of vandalism. He allegedly broke accidently broke a car windshield while roughhousing. Police said he was cooperative and apologetic.
- Raphael Ribera, 46, homeless, was arrested on Tuesday around 12 p.m. on charges of an open container. When police picked up his drink and smelled it, he allegedly said “it’s only vodka.”
- Dockeem McCoy, 26, 143 Third St. Apt #141J, was arrested on Wednesday around 1:16 on a bench warrant.
