Newport Man Found Unresponsive on City Street has Died
Police identified the man found unresponsive on a city street on Wednesday as Jonathan Flores, 30, but have not elaborated much.

NEWPORT, RI—Newport police identified the man found unresponsive on a city street on Wednesday as Jonathan Flores, 30, of Newport.
Flores died on Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital, police said.
No details about the nature of Flores' injuries have been released by police. On Wednesday, police said only that a man was found on the street with unspecified injuries.

Flores was found unresponsive on Clinton Avenue on Wednesday morning and was transported to Newport Hospital and then Rhode Island Hospital, according to a Friday police news release. The state Medical Examiner said that Flores died at the Hospital on Thursday morning, police said.
The results of an autopsy are expected soon.
