NEWPORT, RI — With coronavirus cases on the rise in Rhode Island, the city of Newport transitioned to all remote public meetings. The policy will remain in effect until further notice.

This includes the planning and zoning boards, City Council, historic district commission and several other boards and commissions in the city.

The public is still invited to join these meetings remotely, using the login information on the group's meeting agenda. All agendas are posted online at least 48 hours in advance on the Secretary of State's website.
