Newport police reported the following arrests for Tuesday, July 9: <ul><li>Anthony Lyon, 19, Newport, was arrested on a domestic assault charge. He allegedly struck his girlfriend.  </li><li>Two Middletown boys, ages 12 and 13, allegedly stole two bicycles from Stop and Shop. They were charged with larceny under $1500. </li><li>Steven Barker, 25, of 140 Van Zandt Ave., was arrested on a bench warrant charge. </li><li>Niki Hall, 39, of an unknown address in Newport, was arrested on a bench warrant charge.  </li></ul>
