Police Draw Taser, Arrest Men After Fight

Three men were arrested Sunday after they allegedly had a fight in front of Benjamin's Bar and ran from police. Nicholas Clifford, 28, of 5 Seaview Terrace, Apt. #3, Boston, John Woodman, 41, of 31 Zana Park Dr., Braintree, MA and Jeffrey Clifford, 22, of 375 Granite St., Braintree, MA, were all charged with disorderly conduct. When police arrived, the men allegedly ran towards the Mooring Restaurant. An officer caught up to Nicholas Clifford and Woodman, drew his taser and ordered them to the ground. Jeffrey Clifford was later found inside Diegos.

  • Michael Lund, 39, 1 Ferry St. Fall River, was arrested Sunday around 3:30 a.m. for obstructing an officer and simple assault.  Police were called because Lund was allegedly drunk and on the wrong boat. Lund allegedly told police they had no right to be there and demanded they leave. Police said when they tried to put him in handcuffs, he physically resisted the officer. 

  • Matthew Pritchett, 44, of 20 Chapel St. Apt #44, was arrested Monday around 1:55 a.m. on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct. He allegedly shoved a 34-year-old woman into a car window, which caused it to shatter. 

  • Hilliard McBridge, 36, of of 72 Dr. Weatland Blvd, Apt #D, was arrested Sunday on 14 counts of forgery and counterfeit.

  • Shaunte Johnson, of 195 Admiral Kalbfus Road, Apt #3C, 31, was arrested Sunday around 4:15 p.m. on domestic simple assault.  She allegedly sprayed mace on the face of a 31-year-old Newport man.
     
  • Laura Hickey and Sinead Tuohy, both of 411 Thames St. Apt. #5, were cited Sunday around 4:46 a.m. for open containers. 

  • Joseph Toppa, 49, of 21 West Evans St was cited on Saturday around 5:00 p.m. for an open container.

  • Owen Perkins, 25, of 116 Ruggles Ave Apt. #2W, was cited Saturday around 12:35 p.m. for an open container. 

  • Dillion Stankowitz, of 27, of 2 Lucas Ave., was cited Saturday for a noise disturbance.

  • Brian Walsh, 30, of 700 Thames Street, was cited Sunday for a noise disturbance.

  • Peter Rosario, 32, was arrested Sunday around 4:30 p.m. on violation of a no contact order.
