Police Make Arrests on New Patrol Initiative
The following arrests were reported by the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

As a response to residents' concerns about violent crime, specifically in the Broadway neighborhood, police have increased patrol in focused areas, according to Newport police Lieutenant William Fitzgerald.
