RI Snow: Parking Bans, School Cancellations Ahead Of 8 Inches
Rhode Island is expected to see between six and eight inches of snow accumulation from Thursday night into Friday.

RHODE ISLAND — Break out the snow shovels and gas up the snow blower: Rhode Island is in for a good old-fashioned snowstorm. The National Weather Service upgraded expected snow totals overnight, with much of the state now expected to see up to eight inches of snow from Thursday night into Friday.
The winter storm watch issued for the state Wednesday was upgraded to a winter storm warning, in place from 1 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
"This storm will impact the morning commute," the NWS said, with the first flakes expected to arrive overnight.
