Rogers Cheerleaders Invite Youngsters to Clinic, Perform at Halftime Show

Girls between the ages of 5 and 12 are invited to come to the clinic on Sept. 18 to learn some moves before performing at the Sept. 23 game.

NEWPORT, RI—The Rogers High School cheerleaders are hosting a youth cheerleading clinic that will give youngsters between the ages of 5 and 12 the chance to perform at halftime at the Viking's football game on Sept. 23.

The clinic will be held on Sept. 18. Girls from 5 to 12 are invited to attend and will learn cheers, a dance and stunts that they'll perform with the high school cheerleaders during the Sept. 23 game.

The clinic will be held at the Newport Recreation Department's Hut from 3 to 5 p.m. The cost is $25 per person and each child will get a T-shirt. Pre-registration is required.
