Salve Regina Security Guard Arrested For Felony Assault With Gun

The arrest was reported by the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Salve Regina security guard was arrested Monday for a warrant issued by the Fall River Police Department on an original charge of aggravated assault with a gun, a felony.

Newport Police arrested Michael Morin, 29, of 142 Viking Dr., Portsmouth around 9:41 p.m.  According to the warrant, Fall River police will likely add additional charges such as intimidation of a witness and an inappropriate use of mace.
