NEWPORT, RI — The following people were arrested by Newport police between Oct. 13 and Oct. 19.
Names of those arrested or the town they reside in were only omitted when not provided by police.

9:55 a.m. — Logan Southworth, 20, of Tiverton, was charged with leaving the scene of a collision (damage to an attended vehicle).
5:18 p.m. — Ronald Blyden, 52, of Newport, was charged with residing within 300 feet of a school as a sexual offender and sex offender registration violation.

Oct. 14
1:59 a.m. — Katherine LeBlanc, 29, of Holden, Massachusetts, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault and/or battery (first offense).
Oct. 16
2:19 a.m. — Leander Jaques, 33, of North Kingstown, was charged with DUI drugs/alcohols (first offense) with unknown blood alcohol level.
10:55 a.m. — Nyqwam Sampson, 19, of Newport, was arrested on a warrant charge.
10:10 p.m. — Althea Dibiase, 37, of Providence, was charged with providing false information to 911.
Oct. 17
12:22 a.m. — Steven Cox, 64, of Newport, and Michael Anderson, 58, of Newport, were both charged with drinking/possessing an open container of alcohol in public.
Oct. 18
9:45 p.m. — Rosa Gonzalez, 34, was charged with violating a no-contact order.
9:45 p.m. — Jason Torres, 36, of Woonsocket, was arrested on a warrant charge.
Oct. 19
3:40 a.m. — Ondre Coleman, 30, of Newport, was charged with obtaining property on false pretenses or personation (under $1,500) and larceny under $1,500.
