Sports Authority held its grand opening on West Main Road in Middletown Saturday complete with gift card giveaways, raffles, free samples and more!
The store was busy Saturday as customers sought out the free gift cards and product samples.
Featured in the video above are brother and sister Cameron, 9, and Julia Page, 6, of Newport; store manager Jeremy Tobin of Middletown; and customer Dan Kehew of Portsmouth.
The grand opening also included a ribbon cutting with the Middletown Town Council president, as well as a $1,000 donation by Sports Authority to the Rhode Island Special Olympics.
The new store is located at 1315 West Main Road. The store is open 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
