Woman Rescued From Waters Off Goat Island Sunday
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Newport Hospital and then transferred to Rhode Island. Her condition is unknown.

NEWPORT, RI — A woman was rescued from the water off Goat Island on Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. Her condition is not known. The Coast Guard said more information will be available later on Monday. According to WJAR-TV, she was initially taken to Newport Hospital. The Daily News reported she was later transferred to Rhode Island Hospital.
