Kettelle to Lead North Kingstown Fire Department as Chief
Deputy Chief Scott Kettelle will be sworn in at Monday night's Town Council meeting.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—The town's next fire chief will be sworn in Monday night and the man chosen for the job is Deputy Chief Scott Kettelle.
The North Kingstown Firefighters Local 1651, the fire union, said in a social media post that Kettelle was announced as the town's next chief to town employees this morning.
Kettelle was one of several candidates reviewed by a panel of fire officials from around the state who gave Town Manager Thomas Mulligan their advice before he made a final decision.

Kettelle is due to be sworn in at Monday night's Town Council meeting.
Kettelle has been serving as acting chief since the retirement of former Fire Chief Fenwick Gardiner last December.
