North Kingstown is Hiring Laborers, Camp Director, Finance Dept. Staff

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—The town is about to go on a hiring spree of sorts.

The town has just posted seasonal job openings coupled with two positions that need filling in the Finance Department.

In the finance department, the town is looking to hire a financial assistant who will coordinate the town's bidding processes, supervise accounts payable, reconcile bank statements and do some analytical work. The job requires a high school degree, course work in bookkeeping and accounting or relevant education and experience. An ideal candidate will have four years of related experience or an associates or bachelor's degree. Pay if $17.56 per hour plus benefits.

The department is also looking to hire a part-time clerical assistant in the department. That job pays $15.52 an hour and offers flexible hours of about 21 hours per week.

The town is also looking for a camp director and laborers at the North Kingstown Golf Course.

The application periods for all open jobs close in mid- to late-April.
