PHOTOS: North Kingstown Honor Guard Presents Colors Before Red Sox Win

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Boston Red Sox began June on Saturday with a 6-3 win over the Detroit Tigers. But, before that happened, the North Kingstown Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors before the National Anthem to start the game.
"We swapped sirens for stadium cheers and had a blast," North Kingstown police said in a Facebook post. "Huge thanks to the Boston Red Sox for this unforgettable experience!"
In case you were wondering about the game: Pitcher Cooper Criswell got the win in his start, giving up one run in five innings on the mound. He also had five strikeouts. As for the offense, Emmanuel Valdez led the way with two home runs. This was Valdez's first career multi home run game.

The Red Sox have played one game since, losing Sunday to the Tigers 8-4. Boston is now 30-30 on the season and in third place in the AL East.
