Cumberland moved up one spot, to No. 6, following a convincing 41-6 win against unranked North Kingstown. Division III squad East Greenwich moved up to No. 11 with a 39-21 win against No. 19 Moses Brown.

Cumberland, the second-highest ranked Division II team in the polls. North Kingstown’s lone division win this year came against Pilgrim, a program that is 0-4 and averaging about seven points per game. Things don’t get any easier for the Skippers this weekend, as even in a non-league game, they draw No. 11 East Greenwich
The Avengers are undefeated in Division III play this year, although an Injury Fund exhibition with the Skippers at Chariho to start the season was competitive between the two teams

There wasn’t much movement in my ballot either, except toward the bottom end. Chariho and Shea fell off my ballot after loses, with Rogers (No. 18) and St. Raphael (No. 19) back in the poll
