• RIDOT to fully open Route 146 flyover bridge in North Smithfield (turnto10.com) — Drivers in North Smithfield will see all Route 146 traffic shifted onto the new flyover bridge at Sayles Hill Road over the next two nights, removing the troublesome traffic lights at this high-crash intersection. RIDOT says access to Sayles Hill Road and nearby businesses will be via new service roads, with broader bridge, interchange, and safety upgrades continuing through summer 2026.
