The Town of North Smithfield has at-home rapid COVID -19 test kits. These tests will be available to North Smithfield residents only (with proof of residency). There is no charge, they are for pick-up only, on a first come basis, on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon at Halliwell School, 358 Victory Highway. Please note that the supply is very limited and only 2 test kits (4 tests) per car/household will be given AS LONG AS SUPPLIES ARE AVAILABLE.

There are other options for obtaining rapid COVID-19 test kits:
The Federal Government is offering 4 free test kits per household, to be shipped for free, beginning later this month by going to www.covidtests.gov
Local pharmacies and the larger stores may have testing kits available for purchase or free through your insurance
PCR and Rapid testing appointments are available at many locations throughout the state. Follow this link to book your test appointment covid.ri.gov/testing
AGAIN, OUR SUPPLY IS VERY LIMITED AND THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME BASIS, WITH PROOF OF RESIDENCY (driver’s license, utility bill).
Please do not call the Fire Department, Police Department or the Town Hall seeking information. These calls will tie up important telephone lines.
