Back To School: Pawtucket 2021-2022 School Calendar

PAWTUCKET, RI — Back-to-school planning has already begun, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Pawtucket public schools.

The first day of school for most students in Pawtucket is Sept. 1, according to a posted calendar.

Gov. Dan McKee is recommending that all Rhode Island school children return to the classroom with masks in keeping with new guidance from the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. However, the decision will be made by local school districts.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day of School: Sept. 1

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26

Holiday Break: Dec. 23-January 2

Presidents Day Break: February 21-25

Spring Break: April 18-22

Last Day of School: June 16

JMW Graduation: June 8

Tolman Graduation: June 9

Shea Graduation: June 10
