Here are the top stories in Pawtucket today:

  1. It was announced Friday that Mother Earth Wellness Ltd. was officially awarded the sixth and final new medical marijuana dispensary license by the state Office of Cannabis Regulation. The business reportedly plans to open a retail business at 125 Esten Ave., in Pawtucket. It now has nine months to meet all necessary requirements for operation, including all fire and security regulations and approval from local zoning authorities. (Providence Journa)
  2. The coronavirus is holding on in the ocean state with a reported 6.4 positivity rate. The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 457 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
  3. Doubling the number of non-stop flights it had in 2016, T.F. Green airport got two more non-stop flights added to its list. The flights are on Frontier Airlines to Denver and Raleigh-Durham. (Patch)
