- The Pawtucket Arts Festival is back this year, and organizers say it will be better than ever. That includes Pops at Slater Park and fireworks. (The Valley Breeze)
- New grant-funded tennis court in Central Falls will displace existing basketball courts. Residents who gather to shoot hoop made no secret of their views at Monday's ribbon-cutting. Mayor Maria Rivera said the tennis project will proceed, but promised that new basketball courts will be built in the city. (WJAR)
- A woman was punched and kicked by a group of ATV and dirt bike riders Tuesday
night in Providence. The woman's child was in the car when it happened. The driver told police she was attacked after she beeped her horn at a group of riders. (GoLocalProv) - The Pawtucket School Committee is seeking a two-year extension on a high school renovation plan. Members said they need some time to explore all options. (The Valley Breeze)
