Pawtucket Police Recruiting New Officers
Interested parties have until Sept. 6 to apply.

PAWTUCKET, RI — The city has announced an open, competitive examination for police officer recruitment, and application will be accepted through Monday, Sept. 6.
The application must be completed online at PoliceApp.com/PawtucketPD. Information regarding the selection process, salary and benefits, and physical fitness standards can be found at pawtucketpdrecruitment.com. The department is seeking entry-level officers and certified officers.
“Public safety continues to be a top priority of the city as we are constantly working to protect and best serve the residents of Pawtucket,” said Mayor Donald R. Grebien in a news release. “It is so important for us to have members of our community who want to enter into this important field of law enforcement represented in our public safety department and we encourage them to apply.”

“Police officers help people every day and that is one of the most rewarding things you can do in your career; support the community and assist anyone in need,” declared Acting Public Safety Director Chief of Police Tina Goncalves. “We encourage candidates and those certified to apply to become an integral part of this community.”
