Here are the top three stories today in Pawtucket:

  1. With spring less than a month away, many are looking forward to warmer weather in Pawtucket — and the return of ice cream along with it. The Purple Cow, an ice cream shop on Newport Avenue, is scheduled to reopen in mid-March. In anticipation of the 2022 season, the store will also be holding a hiring event on Saturday, Feb. 26. (Fun 107)
  2. Speaking of spring, you can expect milder temperatures for much of this week. After a sunny 52-degree day today (Monday), Tuesday will bring some afternoon showers and a high of 55. Wednesday will reach a high of 65 degrees, but Thursday will drop sharply to 37. (Pawtucket Patch)
  3. Looking for a new home can be tedious and overwhelming. To help, Patch and Redfin have compiled the five latest properties on the market in Pawtucket. Featured properties include a 2 bed/1 bath for $249,900 and a 6 bed/3 bath for $399,900. (Pawtucket Patch)
