• Pawtucket Convict Arrested On Warrant: Cops (patch.com) — Pawtucket residents are learning that 32-year-old Edwin Castillo, a convicted felon from the city, was arrested this week on a parole bench warrant. State police say the Violent Fugitive Task Force took him into custody without incident and brought him to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center, following earlier convictions for felony assault and discharging a firearm. 
• Gunshot victim involved in Pawtucket crash (wpri.com) — Police are investigating after a 22-year-old man was shot and then crashed his car at Park Street and Central Avenue in Pawtucket on Christmas Day. Officers responded to reports of gunfire near Park and Woodbine streets, and the wounded driver was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
