Benefit Concert To Support Portsmouth Auditorium Renovation
The March 9 benefit concert will feature professional actors from around the region as well as talented local students.

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. -- A benefit concert will be held on March 9 to raise funds for renovations to Portsmouth High School's aging auditorium.
The show will benefit the Kate Grana Music and Arts Association (KGMAA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the improvement of PHS's auditorium and music suite. The organization is named for Portsmouth Middle School's beloved music teacher who inspired students during her decades with the school. Once built, the new auditorium will be named in her honor. The current auditorium was built in 1963 and has not been renovated since.
This will be the ninth concert produced by the Dr. Robert A. Davidson Charitable Fund. The event was organized by Laurie Davidson Spaner, Robert's daughter, and her husband, Craig. Both are professional actors and musicians with experience performing around the region.
