Cicilline Holds Office Hours this Saturday on Aqudineck Island
Congressman David N. Cicilline will hold office hours in Portsmouth and Middletown this Saturday Nov. 14.
Residents seeking an audience with Congressman David N. Cicilline can have exactly that this weekend on Aqudineck Island.
Cicilline will be holding a pair of ”open office hours” meetings with constituents in Portsmouth and Middletown on Saturday as part of his goal to hold small meetings in each of the 19 cities and towns in his congressional district.
The first meeting will be on Sat., Nov. 14 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Portsmouth Free Public Library, 2657 East Main Road in Portsmouth.

The second will be at Middletown Public Library, 700 West Main Road, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
In a statement, Cicilline said that he wanted to make it easier for residents to have face-to-face meetings with him and bringing his office to them seemed like a good way to accomplish that goal.

“It’s important to me that constituents in every city and town have an opportunity to share their thoughts on the challenges we face and to learn more about the services my office can provide and that we do it in a way that is really convenient for folks,”the Congressman said. “I am looking forward to bringing open office hours to Rhode Islanders in every city and town in my district.”
The congressman has been using the social media hashtag #Reachout19 as part of his effort.
