One Person Killed In Portsmouth Fire Wednesday Morning
A search of the three burned houses on Narragansett Boulevard turned up one body.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—One person was killed Wednesday in a fire that started overnight on Narragansett Boulevard. The deceased person has not yet been identified. According to police, the first alarm for a house fire at 175 Narragansett Boulevard sounded at 2:36 a.m.
"It appears that three residential buildings in total have been damaged by the fire," police Lt. Matthew C. Arnold said. "More information will be forthcoming later."
