UPDATE: Portsmouth Man, Woman Safe After Boston Bombing

Have you heard from loved ones in Boston for the marathon? Let the community know they're safe.

Updated Tuesday at 10:18 a.m. 

Both Portsmouth runners are safe today after a devastating series of Boston explosions seriously injured at least 140 people and fatally wounded three. 

Kevin Callahan, a Portsmouth runner, is reportedly safe and on his way home after explosions rocked the finish line of the Boston Marathon today.

A friend of the family posted the following on Portsmouth Patch's Facebook page Monday night:

Callahan, 56, finished the marathon today at 1:53 p.m. 

We can now confirm Portsmouth runner Elizabeth Guidone, 44, is safe and resting at home. 

Guidone's last checked time was at 2:53 p.m. at the 40K mark, according to the Boston Athletic Association website. 

Her husband updated us in the comment section below. He wrote, "I just wanted to let you know that Liz is okay. She got to mile 24 or 25 when the bombs went off. She is resting at home."
