Portsmouth Parking Ban Begins Monday Morning

Another round of snow means the closings, cancellations and parking bans are beginning to pile up.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—Rhode Islanders are bracing themselves for another winter storm beginning Monday and that means another round of closings, cancellations and parking bans.

Portsmouth police on Sunday announced that a parking ban will go into effect at 7 a.m. Monday and it will remain in effect until further notice.

The National Weather Service has put all of Rhode Island under a Winter Storm Warning and is forecasting anywhere from 4 to 12 inches of snow depending on location and the track of the storm, which is still subject to variability.
