New Portsmouth Shop Celebrates With Fresh Pasta, Ribbon Cutting

Greg Fatigati was born into the restaurant business.
He began his career at a very young age alongside his father and grandparents in the family’s restaurant, Fatigati’s, just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.Â

It was his father Evo, who taught Greg the disciplines of being a chef and his grandmother who allowed him to stand with her while she made the fresh pasta’s daily for the restaurant.
On Friday, Fatigati celebrated another milestone — the ribbon cutting of his new restaurant in Portsmouth.Â

"I really like this locaton. I saw a need in Portsmouth for not only fresh pasta, but also the prepared meals we do here which are really popular," said Fatigati, who was classically trained at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America.Â
Alongside Newport County Chamber of Commerce members, Fatigati celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1965 East Main Road.Â
Fatigati’s Fresh Pasta will now serve a wide range of freshly-made pastas.Â
Fatigati will also offer prepared meals to go, such as Mediterranean Chicken, Veal, Chicken or Eggplant Parmesan and homemade sauces and dressing.
The lunch menu features Saltimboca or Alla Nonna meatballs on Rosemary Foccacia, Tuscan Panini, Caprese & Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich and Genovese Shrimp Roll. Fatigati’s also offers gluten-free pasta.
