Portsmouth Police Chase Ends in Arrests

A police chase through at least three communities ended in two men being arrested Sunday, reports The Sakonnet Times. 

Police chased a vehicle reportedly stolen out of Newport on Sunday afternoon, according to the article. The chase continued through Portsmouth and Tiverton before ending in Westport, MA, after the vehicle crashed into a highway sign on Route 88 South. 

The two men, River M. Ahlquist, 18, of 1304 Eddie Dowling Highway, Lincoln, and Earl S. Dandy, 18, of 18 Washington Ave., Providence, were both arrested and charged, according to The Sakonnet Times.
