Feb. 16

Ryan Joseph White, 19, of Exeter, was spotted allegedly speeding on West Main Road at Turkey Hill. He was arraigned in Newport District Court where he was charged with reckless driving; and eluding an officer with a motor vehicle in a high speed pursuit.

Feb. 17

Kevin Lawrence Hewitt, 31, of Middletown, was stopped at 12:02 a.m. near Stringham and Burma roads. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense.

Feb. 18

Nicole Lee Woll, 37, of Portsmouth, and Kathleen Mary Murphy, 62, of Fall River, Mass., were arrested on East Main Road at 6:43 p.m. Woll was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery, first offense; and Murphy was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery.
