Jan. 26

Ryan W. Bartell, 21, of Portsmouth, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. at his Bristol Ferry Road home. He was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery and Domestic Vandalism (malicious injury to property). He was also taken into custody on an outstanding bench warrant from Newport District Court.

Jan. 27

Obed Delgado Caceres, 22, of West Warwick, was arrested at 4:41 p.m. at the Wickford Barracks on Post Road. He was charged with larceny under $1,500 after police obtained an arrest warrant for him.

David Joseph Walsh, 31, of Bristol, was stopped at 11:30 p.m. on Boyd's Lane at the Route 24 South off ramp. He was charged with Driving under the influence.
