U.S. Marine Veteran, With 22 Years of Service, Dies

Ernest L. Needham, MSGT, USMC. Retired, died April 15, 2013 at the John Clarke Nursing Center.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Ruth (Weaver) Needham. They had been married 27 years.

He was a proud Marine and served his country for 22 years. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from HMX-1 (Marine One) at Quantico, VA. The rest of his military career was spent in the Pacific. His love of aviation continued in civilian life having worked for Agusta International and NAVPRO at Sikorsky Aircraft.
