What To Know About Today's Thanksgiving Football Game

Thanksgiving means more than just loads of turkey, stories of pilgrims and a day off work; it is the day for the Middletown vs. Portsmouth annual football game

Although this is a non-league game and is not ranked, Middletown is currently undefeated and Portsmouth holds a 6-2 record going into this game.  

Portsmouth walked away with the bragging rights last Thanksgiving. 

Here are the details for this year's game:

Where? The game is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day this year on the Turf Field at the Gaudet School in Middletown. 

When? Kickoff is at 10 a.m.

How Much? The entrance fee is a straight $5 for everyone. The Middletown Athletic Passes will also be accepted at this game.

Concession will be open and Middletown Spiritwear will be sold. The bands from both Middletown and Portsmouth will play a pregame patriotic medley together this year.  Halftime with consists of both bands and both cheerleaders.
