3 Arrested After 7 Providence College Students Overdose: Cops
The seven students survived, officials said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Seven Providence College students overdosed at a house on Liege Street Friday night, leading to the search of a Hawkins Street apartment and the arrest of two men and a woman, officials said.
Police officers and firefighters responding to a report of a "double overdose found four individuals on the front lawn and subsequently treated three additional patients brought out of the residence, for a total of seven," according to a media release.
"Multiple resources responded to administer Narcan and provide advanced life support," the release said. "All seven individuals were transported to area hospitals and are reported to be conscious and alert."

Steve Maurano, associate vice president of public affairs, community and government relations for Providence College, confirmed in an email that "all seven students who were treated are OK."

"We want to thank the City of Providence first responders on scene, as well as college public safety officials, who administered lifesaving care to our students," Maurano said.
Providence Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime detectives then "identified a suspect believed to have supplied narcotics to one of the individuals who overdosed," according to a media release, and obtained a search warrant for the Hawkins Street apartment.
Two men and a woman were detained during the search, which turned up two assault-style rifles, about 20 grams of fentanyl, approximately $1,700 cash and three handguns, including a suspected ghost gun, the release said.
This led to the arrest of Angel Williams, 33, Patrick Patterson, 32, and Kimsheree Simoneau, 33, according to the release.

“This investigation reflects the department’s continued commitment to combating the deadly flow of fentanyl and illegal firearms into our community,” said Colonel Oscar L. Perez. “The coordinated efforts of our Narcotics and Organized Crime Bureau ensured that dangerous weapons and narcotics were removed from the streets of Providence.”
According to the release, Williams was charged with:
- Possession of multiple firearms after previously being convicted of crimes of violence
- Possession of multiple firearms while prohibited due to prior convictions
- Conspiracy to possess fentanyl with intent to deliver
- Committing a crime of violence while armed (related to alleged possession with intent to deliver cocaine and fentanyl)
- Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl
- Possession or control of a ghost gun or undetectable firearm
- Possession of high-capacity magazines
- Unlawful delivery of cocaine

According to the release, Patterson was charged with:
- Multiple counts of committing a crime of violence while armed (related to alleged possession with intent to deliver cocaine and fentanyl)
- Conspiracy to possess fentanyl with intent to deliver
- Possession or control of a ghost gun or undetectable firearm
- Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl
- Possession of firearms while prohibited due to prior convictions
- Possession of high-capacity magazines

According to the release,Simoneau
- Possession or control of a ghost gun, undetectable firearm, or firearm produced by a 3D-printing process
